The differences are as follows:

First, raw materials are different. Pure cotton is cotton, cotton fiber, is a natural plant fiber; Rayon cotton is a composite of wood fibers such as sawdust, plants and straw, which belongs to chemical fibers.

Second, the yarn is different. Cotton white, strength is good, but cotton knot, thickness is different; The strength of rayon is poor, but the thickness is uniform, and the color is better than cotton;

Third, different cloth surface. Cotton raw material defects; Less rayon cotton; The tearing strength of cotton is higher than that of rayon. Rayon coloring is better than cotton;

Fourth, feel characteristics are different. Rayon feels soft and overhangs stronger than cotton; But the wrinkle resistance is not as cotton, easy to wrinkle;

How can you tell the difference between these two fabrics?

Artificial cotton has good luster and smooth hand feel. It is easy to distinguish cotton yarn from cotton yarn.

First, water absorption method. Both rayon and cotton are put into the water at the same time, so the one that absorbs water and sinks faster is rayon, because rayon absorbs water better.

Second, touch method. Hand to touch these two fabrics, feel smoother is the rayon.

Third, the observation method. Look closely at the two fabrics, the good luster is rayon.
